OFESAUTO is the Motor Insurers Bureau of Spain, which acts as the Green Card National Bureau. The Green Card system is designed to help international traffic of vehicles and to give the necessary assistance to victims involved in traffic accidents between vehicles from different nationalities.

In this sense, OFESAUTO takes charge of both information and compensation claims, for both accidents which take place in Spain and accidents which take place abroad.

Its functions are established in the General Regulations of National Offices Council and other International Agreements.

Its operational rules are established in the Articles of Association, which define its management bodies: General Meeting, Executive Council and General Management.
