What is a Frontier Insurance Policy?

All the vehicles that come from countries outside the European Economic Area must enter the Spanish territory (and therefore the EEA) with a current Green Card.

To that purpose, they can obtain that Green Card in their own country, or otherwise they must acquire one in the moment they enter with their vehicle the Spanish territory. These Green Cards, which are issued in the Spanish border areas for foreign vehicles, are called Frontier Insurance Policies.
