Within the framework of the special collaboration that OFESAUTO maintains with Spain’s neighbouring countries, the first annual working meeting of 2016 between Spain and Morocco was held on 12 April in Casablanca (Morocco), at the headquarters of the National Insurance Bureau of Morocco (BCMA Bureau Central Marocain).
In addition to reporting on legislative developments affecting either country, these regular annual follow-up meetings serve to coordinate market practices, monitor and review problematic files, share good management practices, combat fraud, etc.
It should be borne in mind that Spanish vehicles are the foreign vehicles that cause the highest number of accidents in Morocco, ahead of French and Italian vehicles.
We would like to highlight the close degree of collaboration that, thanks to these regular meetings, OFESAUTO maintains with the whole team of the Moroccan Bureau, which ultimately results in improved quality and speed in the handling of accidents between Spanish and Moroccan vehicles, for all victims in general and for the whole insurance market in particular.
