In OFESAUTO, we are bound by different regulations including the Ministerial Order of 26 July 2017, which extensively sets out our functions and the precepts contained in the Regulation of Mandatory Civil Liability Insurance in the Circulation of Motor Vehicles (Art. 21) RD 1507/2008 (BOE 13-09-2008) to treat your data to meet the obligations established.
In this sense, OFESAUTO is the Spanish National Green Card Office. The system called "Green Card" is designed to help the international traffic of vehicles and to guarantee attention to the victims of traffic accidents between vehicles of different nationalities.
The functions as such for the management of the Green Card are set out in the General Regulations of the Council of National Offices.
Accordingly, OFESAUTO will treat your personal data in order to deal with requests for information and claims for compensation, both for accidents occurring in Spain and for accidents occurring abroad.
If you object to its processing for the purposes indicated, you are warned that your declaration may not be processed properly.
In accordance with the provisions of current regulations on the Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that your data will be incorporated into the Register of Activities for the treatment of ownership of OFICINA ESPAÑOLA DE ASEGURADORES DE AUTOMÓVILES with Corporate Identification Number CIF G28075240 and registered office at C/ SAGASTA 18 7ª PLANTA 28004, MADRID, in order to attend to your queries and to be able to attend and manage claims for compensation, both for accidents occurring in Spain and for accidents occurring abroad. The basis for legitimising the processing of your data is the fulfilment of a legal obligation as indicated above and for the execution of the contractual relationship as an insured of an associated insurance company and green card applicant. Your data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes.
In accordance with the rights conferred by current legislation on data protection, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, limitation of treatment, suppression, portability and opposition to the treatment of your personal data, as well as the consent given for the treatment thereof, by sending your request to the postal address indicated above or to the e-mail address, attaching a photocopy of your National Identity Document or a substitute identification document.
You may contact the competent Control Authority to present the complaint you consider appropriate.
